It is impossible to tire of Norway’s magical landscapes, the grandeur of which is at once awe-inspiring and humbling. There is an astonishing variety, too – from dramatic wildernesses to serene fjords, and from Arctic islands to enthralling cities. You cannot fail to be moved by such a place, and a vacation to Norway is an unforgettable experience.
We offer two splendid walks in the fjord regions, plus a discovery tour on the Lofoten Islands. Summer is pleasantly mild and, in the south and fjords, not unlike that of Britain. On the Lofoten Islands, the Gulf Stream influence means that extremes of temperature are rare, and the Midnight Sun brings 24 hours of daylight from early June until mid-July. Such weather is perfect for enjoying the outdoor life. Our trips run from May or June until mid or late September. Many visitors choose mid-June to mid-August, but late August and September have their charms too, not least a wonderful tranquility and the first colors of autumn.
